Tampa Bay Mobile Mammography

I brought Tampa Bay Mobile Mammography onsite to a client last year. Their 3D screening found an employee’s breast cancer early. Thanks to the convenience and ease of their services, she is now CANCER FREE! They are just like bringing a doctor’s office to your worksite, take all different insurances, and it compliments a program with hospitals by reaching non-compliant women.

They saved my life

Our employees love the convenience of Tampa Bay Mobile Mammography as well as the state-of-the-art equipment used on the bus. We’ve heard from countless employees that the bus makes it very easy for them to get their annual mammogram – they no longer have an excuse not to get screened as the screening comes to them! As one of our employees wrote last year after utilizing TBMM services to encourage others:

‘Ladies, this wonderful bus, its equipment and wonderful crew are the reason my breast cancer was caught very early. High tech 3D machine caught something extremely small that, according to my doctor, I would never have found until serious. Use their services! They come to you basically and give you no excuse not to be checked. Thank you Tampa Bay Mobile Mammography! Because of my experience with you, I AM A SURVIVOR!’

I would like to send Kudos to your 3-person staff working Saturday, February 3rd. They were very courteous; only waited for the person ahead of me and was out the door in no time!
Thank you again!

Thanks for providing this travel service, makes getting this done allot more convenient.

Thanks Linda. I’ve been meaning to contact you guys for a year now to tell you THANK YOU!!! My mammogram showed something abnormal. I spent the whole summer after that having diagnostic mammograms, sonograms, MRI, needle biopsy, surgical removal of abnormal tissue, and now the chemo pill. But if it hadn’t have been for you gals sitting in the courthouse signing people up, (and I signed up on a whim, thinking, aaah I haven’t had one in a long time – what the heck), things could have / would have been so much worse. Plus, it stirred me into obtaining a general practitioner since that was required to send the results to. All that time in doctors’ offices and now treating with an oncologist have made it crystal clear to me that I want to live to be OLD!!! 🙂 THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! (As far as scheduling a mammogram, well, I’ve got that covered – every six months now.)

Thank you for coming out yesterday. I probably would not have had it done for another couple of years…

As a breast cancer survivor myself, it is so important to be screened regularly. I was 46 and my son was 9 at the time and it was found in my annual mammogram (ductal carsinoma insitu)! I was scared beyond words but detecting it early was the key. I had surgery, then on to 8 weeks of daily radiation, took Tamoxifin for 4 1/2 years and now I’m taking Arimidex.

This is such a sweet benefit to our employees because they do not have to use their sick leave, arrange for a guest teacher or make arrangements for someone to take or pick-up their own (personal) children from school, sports, etc. You do not have to get in traffic or have a long wait in a waiting room at the doctors OR be told we can’t get you in for another 3 months!! There are so many pluses it is hard to mention them all. But all I can say is thank you for offering such a valuable service to our schools.

On behalf of Calvin Hunsinger School, I want to thank you for coming to our school. Your staff created a nonthreatening, welcoming environment which promoted getting the mammogram screening. The feedback I got from the staff that took advantage of this wonderful opportunity was great. PLEASE COME BACK NEXT YEAR. Thanks for saving lives!!!

I want to let you know that one of our ladies that was screened on your bus and they discovered that she has breast cancer. Could have made a lifesaving difference in her life. She said she is going to be telling everyone to get on that bus!!

Many women told me they had a wonderful experience (as did I!).

In case no one else has mentioned it, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! This was so convenient, so easy, so fast, and so discreet, and again I’m so thankful I was able to participate.
I did miss going to my mammogram appointment last year because it was just an ordeal to get out of work, get to the imagining center, and just over all finding the time to get it done. However, I did NOT have that excuse this year and I’m grateful for that!! I so loved this and sincerely hope we are able to continue with the mobile bus.

I strongly suggest women take full advantage of this. Last year my screening found breast cancer. I am grateful that it was found so early I didn’t even have to have radiation or chemotherapy. This saves lives. Literally.

I didn’t fit the profile of someone at risk for breast cancer. I did
self-exams, had annual breast exams with my gynecologist, and there was never an
indication of a lump.

Only screening mammograms (routine, annual exams for women with no current breast problems) are offered by our mobile mammography coach. If you are under 40 you would need a prescription from your physician for a screening mammogram. Ages 40+ no prescription is required. If you currently have concerns regarding your breast health (i.e. a lump you can feel, nipple discharge, pain, dimpling of the breast or nipple changes) please contact your physician immediately.
